Tyra is a very calming person. She specializes in working with children and teens. She has a lot of experience with abuse and trauma. She likes to use Play Therapy with children and youth. She uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people work through trauma. She uses DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) along with experiential methods of therapy. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her 5 children.

Education and Training:
Tyra holds a Master’s degree from the University of Utah in clinical social work. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science with a Psychology emphasis.
