Tyler Hodges, AMFT
Hi! My name is Tyler, and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist who enjoys working with individuals as well as couples and families. I started my education at Utah Valley University, earning my bachelor’s degree in Communications, and completed my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. In addition to my graduate coursework, I have received training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), addiction, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practices. My experience has allowed me to work with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, substance use, addiction, life transitions, and an array of relationship struggles. I focus on helping clients find their strengths and build practical solutions that fit their lives. I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I am passionate about creating a space where people feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow. In our sessions, you can expect a calm, collaborative environment where we work together to create lasting change. You can also expect homework that is designed to challenge your thinking and highlight the formation of new habits. When I am not at work, I enjoy playing with my two kids or watching TV shows with my wife. I am a big sports fan and love going to football and basketball games. I also enjoy playing video games or reading fantasy/Sci-Fi books.
