Tricia Lester, CSW
My name is Tricia Lester. I have a unique and diverse background in SocialWork including school social work, child protection and parenting. I have training in couples therapy, play therapy and substance use disorder. I am compassionate, empathetic and view my clients as unique in the universe each deserving of my trust, attention and understanding. I believe that individuals have an innate ability to heal themselves when provided with the appropriate tools and environment. In therapy, collaboration is key. As a parent of five (including twins) and a grandmother of 6, I have practical understanding of the challenges and stresses parents, couples, and families can experience throughout the life-span.
I graduated from Utah Valley University receiving my Bachelors (Summa Cum Laude) and Master’s degrees in Social Work. I value continued education and approach my work with humility and cultural sensitivity.
I grew up in Anaheim, California and am a true-blue Disney Adult. On my bucket-list is visiting every Disney Park in the world. I have lived in Utah for about 7 years and love the lakes, mountains and opportunities for outdoor adventures. I taught piano lessons to children for 20 years. I enjoy playing the piano and singing in/directing choirs. I love dogs and my current furry friend is a 3-year-old Border doodle named Maizy.
