Cheryl Scholes, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I’m Cheryl Scholes—a dedicated healthcare provider with a passion for helping people achieve their best physical and mental health. Nursing has been my calling for nearly two decades. I specialized in treating patients facing ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.
Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise to better serve my patients. I started my journey by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 2009 and spent the next 14 years working as a Family Nurse Practitioner, caring for patients of all ages. As I saw more individuals struggling to access psychiatric care, I decided to take action. I earned my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Beyond my NP experience, I’ve spent 19 years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings, including Primary Children’s Hospital and medical/surgical units. Collaboration is at the heart of my work—I thrive in team environments, working alongside physicians, nurses, and healthcare leaders to ensure my patients receive compassionate, individualized care.
When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll find me spending time with my family, tackling DIY projects, traveling to new places, or playing with my dogs. No matter where life takes me, I remain committed to learning, growing, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those I serve.
