Kat is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She loves working with children as well as adults. Kat’s philosophy revolves around a person-centered approach, in which the relationship between client and counselor aids in facilitating change. She has a passion for working with others, emphasizes empathy, and unconditional positive regard with every individual she works with.

Kat has an eclectic approach that utilizes interventions from multiple modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Education and Training:
Kat earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Brigham Young University-Idaho. She then went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix. Kat has been trained in EMDR. She has also been in training with registered play therapists to better equip herself to work with children.
