    Individual Therapy

    individual-session

Come enjoy a warm caring environment were you come in alone and work individually with a therapist. You are your best investment – put some focus on your personal growth!

    COGNITIVE THERAPY

At Eagle Mountain Counseling we strive to use psychotherapy tools and techniques that are shown to be most effective at relieving symptoms quickly. Decades of research has established CBT as one of the most effective approaches to a variety of problems from depression to trauma to addiction. Based on the insight that the way we think affects how we feel and act, CBT involves looking at the unexamined thoughts and beliefs at play when life gets hard. By collaborating with our clients to create powerful new thoughts and beliefs they can live by, we empower our clients to live lives of purpose and fulfillment.

EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION & REPROCESSING (EMDR)

This cutting-edge treatment has proven life-saving to survivors of trauma and those who struggle with paralyzing anxiety. Based on recent insights into how the brain processes events, EMDR involves activating parts of the brain that short-circuit in moments of extreme stress. Not only is this approach extremely effective, it is relatively short-term, so you can get back to your life. We are inspired by the resilience of our clients in the face of staggering obstacles, and look forward to being a part of their healing.
