Hi, my name is Clint and I am a clinical social worker. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, cognitive science from the University of California, Irvine. My master’s degree is in social work with an emphasis in mental health from the University of Utah. My experience includes several years in the social services field including working with youth, addiction recovery, and private practice counseling. I view therapy work from an attachment based perspective and try to help clients find their own healing by reprocessing past emotional bruises or traumas and improving current thinking patterns. My area of expertise includes helping people work through traumatic experiences, overcoming unwanted behaviors and working with sexual addictions. I use a framework of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), and accelerated resolution therapy (ART) in order to help clients heal and find meaning in life. My life experiences include being a husband and father, spent time in the military, grew up in Southern California, and played lots of sports. I currently enjoy golfing, games with friends, barbequing, audiobooks, and figuring out how to DIY projects around the house.
