I am excited to be an intern at EMC. I believe in the power of therapy and have witnessed many lives changed for the better because of it. We are all on a journey and I see a therapist’s role as being a guide on that journey. I have two cats, enjoy Yoga and Tai-Chi, and love being around water.

Approaches to Therapy:
I believe that we all have answers within ourselves. My goal is to assist those searching for answers and healing on their journeys. I have experience using Seeking Safety, CBT, DBT, and MRT, which are all evidence based interventions. I also enjoy working with anger management and have experience with Aggression Replacement Training.
Education and Training:
I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 2003 and soon after obtained my SSW license. I have been a case manager for Wasatch Behavioral Health since that time, working in several different departments with both youth and adults. I am currently attending the University of Utah in the MSW program.
