Ammon has a calming personality and connects well with most all people. He loves helping others as a therapist. He works with teens and adults as well as couples. He has expertiese in treating depression and anxiety. He works with LGBTQ clientelle. Ammon is very experiential and likes to help his clients feel validated so they feel empowered when they leave each session.

Approaches to Therapy:
Ammon uses experiential methods of working with people. Ammon is trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) which focuses on changing unhealthy thinking patterns to work with individuals. His theory of choice is Client Centered which focuses on a client feeling understood, valued and accepted so they can be free to grow without any judgement. He also used Solution Focused Therapy to help people find practical solutions to try each week without needing to wait very long to see results.
Education and Training:
After getting a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University he went on to receive his Master’s degree in Social Work from the same.
